In the last decade, female performances have been nothing short of spectacular. In an industry, that is still predominantly male actors dominated, female actors have held their ground purely on the basis of their performances. There is a surge of woman centric stories. Even in the usual fare of Bollywood Masala movies, the female actors have gone way beyond their stipulated miss and blink roles, being eye candies and all. The fact that writers, directors are etching the female characters in a much clear and distinguishable fashion, the last ten years’ acting performances are a testimonial to this. We, at The Cinemawala ranked the greatest female performances and the actors. It was a much difficult task, considering the sheer quality of the acting performances. Great list but I would have liked to swam some positions-
1. Tabu
2. Vidya
3. Kangana
And don’t see Taapsee or Deepika making it to the list over Geetanjali Thapa. Tillotama Shome and Rashika Duggal have been great additions, though, which most lists have missed

It’s great to see Kangana Ranaut at the top. She is going to be the Best Actress in Indian Cinema. Her performances are Oscar level.
However, Taapsee is at rank 4 !. I am yet to see Manmarziyaan. Is she really that good in the movie to be ranked so high over Alia Bhatt and Vidya Balan? Will check the movie soon.
